A good drill (preferably cordless) is needed in many
situations... both for drilling and screwing.

THIS IS A MUST.
One must not forgot a set of
good drill bits. Drill bits are
used for pre-drilling holes in
the roof OF a vehicle.
DICOR White Sealant

Used to seal all holes and cap all screws you use during installation. This product can
be found at any RV supply store.

100% rubber silicone may be
used as an alternate, it is recommended that you use what the manufacturers use, Dicor.
For wood roofs, you'll want to
use #12 x 3/4" stainless steel screws.

Do not use sheet metal
screws on fiberglass roofs.
Standard screws are used
on fiberglass roofs... make
sure that holes are pre-drilled
so that the screw will not
fracture the fiberglass roof.

A Hole Saw is used to drill the entry hole in the roof for the cables.

A long drill is used to make
the pilot hole through the
roof... to guide the Hole Saw
below.
Tape Measure... To measure if you
have enough room on top of the roof.
Make sure you have a
caulking gun.
A set of open end wrenches.
7/16 is a commonly used
wrench with the DataStorm.
